The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a more convenient way to modify your Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC). With the upgraded Pak-ID mobile application (v4.4.3), citizens can now update their CNIC details online — without the hassle of visiting NADRA offices or waiting in long queues.

This initiative is part of Pakistan’s digital transformation strategy, aimed at making public services more accessible and reducing administrative hurdles.

The latest version of the Pak-ID app allows users to complete the CNIC modification process from start to finish through their smartphones. The key features include:

• Secure Payments: Pay fees easily through Easypaisa, JazzCash, debit/credit card, or e-Sahulat.

Here’s how you can modify your CNIC with the Pak-ID mobile app:

1. Download the Pak-ID App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
2. Register & Log In using your mobile number and complete biometric verification (fingerprint or facial recognition).
