Fresh off his wedding celebrations, Hasan Raheem is wasting no time before diving back into music. The Joona hit-maker, known for his lo-fi pop and effortless charm, has officially switched to #AlbumMode, leaving fans buzzing with excitement.
Just last week, Hasan confirmed his marriage after viral pictures and videos flooded social media. Many fans were skeptical at first, recalling his staged “fake wedding” in April that turned out to be a teaser for his track Memories. This time, though, the singer cleared all doubts by posting photos with his wife captioned simply: “Real hai” (It’s real).
But instead of taking a honeymoon break, Hasan is back at work this time teasing a full album. On Instagram, he dropped three cryptic reels, each captioned with a single letter: P, K, and D, paired with the hashtag #AlbumMode.
The reels, set against glitchy neon cityscapes in shades of pink and purple, carried different voiceovers:
- In the first, Hasan’s own voice says: “Uska bohot ehsan hai mujhpe, upar wale ne hamesha mere gunahon pe parda dala hai” (I am indebted to Him, the Creator has always hidden my sins).
- The second features a woman’s voice: “Hasan, if you want to be in my life, you’re gonna have to leave these vices behind.”
- The third ends with a male narration: “Hasan zindagi ka aakhri paigham mohabbat hai… woh mohabbat kar sakta hai, woh mohabbat mahsus kar sakta hai” (Hasan’s last message is love; his true introduction is that he can love and feel love).
The teasers hint at themes of faith, love, inner conflict, and self-discovery—a moodier, more reflective direction than his earlier, playful lo-fi hits.
As expected, Hasan’s posts hijacked Instagram. Fans rushed to comment:
- “Hasan Bhai ne pura Insta hijack kar liya hai” (Hasan brother has hijacked the whole Instagram).
- “Hasan ke sirf do moods hain: nachna ya gaana” (Hasan only has two moods: dancing or singing).
- “Bhai shaadi ki chuttiyan nahi karoge?” (Brother, won’t you take a honeymoon break?).
Another summed it up perfectly: “Brother is suffering from extreme success and aura.”
Hasan Raheem’s debut album Nautanki (2022) made him a household name, followed by his 2023 EP Maybe It’s Love. His music a fusion of R&B, indie-pop, and mellow hip-hop has always struck a chord with Gen Z for its mix of vulnerability and playfulness.
This new album, however, seems to promise something deeper. With cryptic teasers pointing toward spirituality and mature reflections, fans are eager to see whether marriage has influenced his storytelling.
Details like the album’s title, tracklist, and release date remain under wraps, but excitement is already at an all-time high. If the teasers are anything to go by, Hasan Raheem’s upcoming project could be one of the most talked-about releases in Pakistan’s music scene this year.
For now, one thing is clear: Hasan Raheem isn’t slowing down he’s only getting started.
