The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has officially announced the 9th Class Results 2025. This year, over 300,000 students appeared in the annual examinations, with the overall pass percentage recorded at 45.08%.
Along with the results, BISE Lahore has also released the result gazette, offering a detailed breakdown of student performance based on groups, institution type, and gender.

- Appeared: 308,073
- Passed: 138,894
- Pass Percentage: 45.08%
- Science Group: Out of 235,247 students, 111,681 passed. Pass rate – 47.47%.
- Humanities Group: Out of 72,826 students, 27,213 passed. Pass rate – 37.37%.
- Government Schools: 109,625 appeared, 44,390 passed. Pass rate – 40.50%. Boys in science recorded only 29.45%.
- Private Schools: 82,222 appeared, 55,698 passed. Pass rate – 67.73%. Female students in science excelled with 75.13% success.
Out of 116,226 private candidates, only 38,806 managed to pass, resulting in a pass rate of just 33.39%. Male students in the humanities group had the lowest performance at 21.07%.
- Boys: 145,634 appeared, 51,596 passed. Pass rate – 31.46%.
- Girls: 162,439 appeared, 87,298 passed. Pass rate – 53.75%.
Clearly, female students outperformed male students across almost all categories.
