The Punjab Government, under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has officially launched the second phase of the Agriculture Graduate Internship Program 2025—a transformative initiative aimed at empowering young agriculture graduates, modernizing farming practices, and improving productivity across rural Punjab.
With a focus on hands-on training and youth employment, this program offers 2,000 internships, each with a generous monthly stipend of Rs60,000, practical fieldwork opportunities, and real-time exposure to modern agricultural techniques.
The internship is part of CM Maryam Nawaz’s broader rural development agenda. Operating under the slogan “Maryam Nawaz ka Khwab – Sona Ugalta Punjab”, the program bridges the gap between academic learning and real-world field application.

Interns will work directly with senior agricultural officers and local farming communities, performing:

Speaking during the official launch on July 25–26, 2025, CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif described the initiative as a cornerstone of her plan to build a “Sona Ugalta Punjab” (Gold-Yielding Punjab). She reaffirmed her government’s commitment to:
